Polish Air force (Technical Services) Dagger  #686

Polish Model 1954 Air Force No Maker. Blade numbered 3782. This is a post 1989 dagger as evidenced by the smaller crowned eagle on the pommel. So, the numbers are spurious. Any legitimate dagger would be numbered greater than 30,000. Dagger is 13 1/2", 14 5/8" with scabbard. The dagger has a 9" nickel plated diamond cut blade. This is the nickel plated model. All fittings are nickel plated brass. . The scabbard is covered with black leather.   Note the small eagle with crown on the pommel and the Polish Air Force symbol on the upper scabbard fitting. This dagger was produced post 1989 and not numbered by the military
