MODEL 1870 ROYAL DANISH ARMY NON COMMISSIONED OFFICERS, DOCTORS, AND VETERINARIANS DAGGER. Maker HERAZCEK, crown over makers name. It is possible the crown is a military acceptance mark. This dagger was also for army NCO's. The MODEL 1870 was issued to NCO's starting in 1910. The question on this dagger is which model is it. I have referred to this as the 1871 because Herazcek is stamped on the blade. The dagger is 12 1/2" with scabbard and has an unplated 7 1/8" blade with a 2" false trailing edge. The grip is ebony wood with no pommel. Scabbard fittings are gilded brass on a leather scabbard.Type a description for this product here...
