This dagger was presented to Erich Honecker by State Forestry Superintendent
Wolff on
August 25, 1982, at Honecker's hunting lodge in the Nossentiner
Heide. The blue leather case is six inches wide, just over 15 inches long
and two inches deep. The dagger itself is 14 inches long. It is made with
24k gold. The grip wire is five meters of pure silver. The dagger is
decorated with sixteen rubies. The crossguard is marked Heym and RW.
Accompanying the dagger is research on Honecker, his hunting lodge and
photos of his hunting lodge. The accompanying birthday card from Wolff is
also included. Mint.

The two Honecker daggers each come with a letter of authenticity from the German firm that sold them for the state. Photos and research on each of the hunting lodges as well as 12 pages of research on Honecker himself.
