| German Army dagger by Paul Weyersburg. Rare Maker. Beautiful dark grip, Excellent ++ dagger. Comes with original portepee although I do not know when it was added. Is not original to the piece. This dagger's scabbard does not have the flaw normally attributed to the Weyersburg Army Dagger. I have no explanation. The scabbard fit and patina is excellent and matches the dagger. Wear to the top of the pommel and some loss of darkened finish on scabbard, but no dents or detractions. |
