Forestry Official Subordinate   #324

Subordinate Forestry Official dagger in great condition. The Subordinate is, for some reason, harder to locate than the Senior version. Many of these pieces are the later plated aluminum alloy types but this one is the earlier solid brass with heavy fire gilt. Stag grips are beautiful with all of the original acorns. Triple etched blade is near mint with all of the black background burnish. Correct stamped TM. No dents cracks or chips. Leather shows age and wear but is very sound. photo and text submitted by a collector.
