Communist Hungarian Defence Ministry honour dagger  #403

This near mint dagger comes in the largest case I've ever seen for a dagger.
It's 10.25" wide (the dagger and scabbard are fitted separately into the
case); 2.25" deep; and 17.75" high. The red leather case has a red velvet
interior. One of my favorites for sheer eye appeal. It was given to the
recipient on his 50th birthday. The inscription translates:

Comrade Dr. Egon Szabo
January 3, 1979
Ministry of Home Defense

Although this didn't come with the dagger, I'll throw it in. It's a blank
