Postepee and Frog are not original to the piece but are original.  If you are interested in the frog and portepee, add $50.00 to the price. 

This is the cypher for George Augustus of Saxony (pre-WWI) . It is a shortened S98 made as/into a private purchase walking out dress bayonet (Extra-Seitengewehr). The tip was properly ground down (shortened) after plating. The scabbard was shortened as well and other than shrikage, fits well. I am told by experts the wide mouth of the scabbard upper fitting is normal.Type a description for this product here...
